Location of Cottage
Located at the geographical centre of the country, both of Scotland’s differently rewarding coastlines are easily accessed from Aberfeldy (just 10 miles from the A9) and all the cities are in comfortable day-trip distance (90 minutes). The area is ideally situated for lovers of land and water based sports and pursuits of ALL kinds, and facilities for gun, rod, sail, horse and golf enthusiasts are simply reached from the cottage.
The cottage is approached by a 1/2 mile of tarmac road and surrounded by fields. Aberfeldy, 3 miles to the west, is a thriving community with many shops providing the townsfolk and tourists with most of their needs. It has its own Recreation Centre offering swimming, squash, sauna and weight training. There are many hotels and restaurants for lunches and dinners catering to most tastes at a variety of prices.
